Northwestern Hockey Outreach Camp is excited to launch their 2010 programming!  Since 1987, Northwestern has offered a multitude of hockey development programs.  Our Program features a unique beginning in our “Initiation Program”, featuring our “Learn To Skate Program” & “Right Start Hockey Program”, an intermediary program “Competitive Program” and our “High Performance Program” for elite players aspiring to take their game to the next level.  Our range of programming includes summer day camps, pre-training camp and pre-season camps, in-season hockey academies, developmental programs for minor hockey associations, and numerous specialty programs including our dedicated female programming.  The July programs will be held in Ignace, Ontario situated in the heart of Northwestern Ontario. (www.town.ignace.on.ca) Ignace is a quiet community that offers an abundance of lakes and forest area for nature enthusiasts and those looking for a family getaway.  Northwestern Hockey Outreach Camp is excited to partner with True North Sports and Entertainment Ltd. and the Manitoba Moose.  As of August 2010, we are pleased to offer all Winnipeg programming at the new MTS Iceplex facility (www.mtsiceplex.ca).

Our summer all day camps run Monday through Friday (ON) and Sunday through Friday (MB) and offer a Hot Lunch Program to all registered participants. Each of the all day programs has a Multi-Sports Camp component designed to complement on-ice development.  Through a variety of off-ice training methods, including cross-training sports and kinesthetic activities, strength and agility are developed to enhance on-ice skill development.  The summer day camps that are hosted in Ignace, ON offer a complete Residence Program for the majority of players.

 As in the past, the programming at Northwestern Hockey Outreach Camp gives players the opportunity to attend one of our summer camps in Ontario or Manitoba and to complement their hockey season with the convenience of a Community Based Outreach Camp or a mid-season academy program.  Northwestern Hockey Outreach Camp operates a variety of specialty programs to target specific needs of players and families.
